Waitangi Day Monday 6th February 2017
Dear Families and Whanau
We are very much looking forward to you joining with us on Waitangi Day, Monday 6th February at 4:00pm on the school site.
Bishop Patrick Dunn will be Blessing our school buildings, our staff and families at this time – a very special occasion indeed!
Please bring a family picnic to supplement the sausage sizzle which the school will provide.
The children do not need to wear their school uniform but may wear their own casual clothes for this informal gathering.
We will all gather in the internal school courtyard and staff will direct you from there.
As the school car parking is still being completed, please park in the neighbourhood side streets and walk into school. Do take care with entry and exit to/from the schools grounds as some external construction work is still being completed.
First Day – Tuesday 7th February 2017
You are welcome to attend the Candle Liturgy and Ceremony to be celebrated at 8:50am. Please gather in the internal courtyard with your child/children. Once the children have commenced classes, parents and whanau are invited to morning tea with the Senior Leadership Team and Establishment Board of Trustees members in the staffroom.
With Blessings
Peta Lindstrom
Principal
